About Ian Stackhouse:
Ian Stackhouse has been the Senior Minister of Guildford Baptist Church (Millmead) since 2004 and has been in pastoral ministry for nearly thirty years. Ian often travels around the UK ministering in churches, seminaries, conferences and retreats – teaching and mentoring other preachers and discipling congregations.
Ian has authored several books and his first book, The Gospel-Driven Church (Paternoster Press, 2004), is now used as a textbook in theological faculties and seminaries. And his other book, Letters to a Young Pastor: Reflections on Leadership, Community, and the Gospel of Grace (Cascade Books, 2019) where Ian writes a series of letters to a young pastor just starting out. Responding to the various challenges his young charge faces in the first few years of congregational leadership, Letters to a Young Pastor is something of a spiritual reflection on leadership in the context of Christian ministry.
