James is a challenging and bracing letter, one that reminds us that our faith needs to express itself in action. Unless we live holy lives – and lives that seek justice for others – then our faith risks being a sham, and we need again to seek God’s mercy.

James Training Day Videos
Bible Month Training Days were run jointly by LWPT and the Methodist Church and in January and February 2017.
The following two sessions were recorded at the Sheffield training day, 28th January 2017. Session one is an introduction to James by Revd Dr Pete Philips, while session two is designed to help preachers engage James and is led by the Revd Dr Kate Bruce.
